Jora Malaysia is seeking an HR generalist to oversee recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing and employee benefits. You will manage candidate selection, contracts, orientation and probation metrics, while ensuring compliance and smooth HR operations.
Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in HR, strong communication, and fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. This on-site role supports labour relations, payroll, and HR administration.

The scope encompasses recruitment, employee relations & retention, training and development, performance monitoring, payroll processing, permitting & compliance, technical/procedural/ legal matters on human resources and office administration.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and on-boarding
Establish a recruiting, testing and interviewing program; discussion with hiring managers on candidate selection and communication with selected candidates
Issuance of appointment letters or contracts to selected candidate
Contents and wordings per approved templates
Job requirement and job description
Organisation chart
Accepted and signed off by candidate
Onboarding - work station, email, equipment, etc.
Establish and conduct orientation and on-boarding briefing for new recruits
Placement of recruits at the designated place of work and follow up to ensure candidate properly settled in
Monitoring probationary appraisals.
2. Payroll processing, Compensation and Benefits
To recommend the salary package for the selected candidate and obtain approval from Hiring Committee prior confirmation of the offer.
Manage ad-hoc appraisals and contract renewals
Manage employee benefits such as cashless outpatient medical treatment, Group Personal Accident and Group Hospital & Surgical Insurance (addition, deletion and yearly renewal), etc
Manage employee accident and illness case for submission of insurance claim and follow-up on the necessary documentation till claims are obtain from the insurer
Payroll processing and reimbursement claims/expenses
Ensure all due payment to the resigned or end contract employee is being paid in compliance to Company's standard procedure.
Conduct and analyse exit interviews; and recommending changes.
To perform any other duties as when assigned by the Management and your superior from time to time.
Requirement:
Diploma / Certificate in Human Resource / Administration or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in HR
Problem solving, detail oriented with strong communication skill
Fluent in written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
