AH NEW FISHERY SDN BHD is seeking an HR & Administrative Officer to manage daily HR and administrative activities within a Malaysian employment context. Responsibilities include recruitment, payroll coordination, attendance tracking, records maintenance, and employee relations.
The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Degree in HR/BA/Management with 2–4 years of HR experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves managing daily HR and administrative activities, including recruitment, employee records, payroll coordination, attendance management, and employee relations within a Malaysian employment context.
Key responsibilities
Manage daily HR and administrative activities
Handle recruitment, job postings, interview arrangements, and onboarding of new employees
Maintain and update employee records, personal files, attendance, leave, and other HR documentation
Coordinate monthly payroll preparation, overtime, allowances, and employee claims
Manage employee attendance, working schedules, leave applications, and disciplinary matters
Assist in preparing employment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, and other HR documents
Ensure HR policies and company procedures are properly communicated and followed
Handle employee enquiries and assist in resolving workplace issues
Assist with foreign worker documentation, work permits, renewals, and related administrative matters
Support training, staff activities, company events, and employee engagement initiatives
About you
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in HR or a similar role
Good knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and HR administration
Experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and employee relations
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Able to handle confidential information professionally
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Mature, responsible, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
