Job summary

Chong Wah Plastics Sdn Bhd seeks an HR/Administration professional to provide clerical support to the Assistant HR Manager and handle payroll, foreign worker matters, and HR documentation. You will manage employee enquiries, communicate with government authorities, and help implement ISO procedures within the HR department.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in HR or related field with 2–3 years in HR & administration, payroll experience, and strong knowledge of employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to Assistant Human Resources Manager.
• Handle employee enquiries, complaints and grievances.
• Process monthly payroll, including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions.
• Handle foreign worker matters, including work permits, visas, renewals, and documentation.
• Prepare documentation and reports relating to HR activities (recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, foreign workers documentation, etc).
• Communicate with government authorities (Immigration, DOE, City Council, etc).
• Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
• Assist in ensuring ISO procedures and systems are followed in the HR department.

Job description

To provide clerical and administrative support to Assistant Human Resources Manager.

Handling of employee enquiries, complaints and grievances.

Handle monthly payroll, including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions.

Handle foreign worker matters, including work permits, visas, renewals, and documentation.

Job requirements: -
