Job summary

Thong Guan Industries Berhad is seeking a Production Officer cum CS to coordinate customer orders from confirmation to delivery. You will work closely with Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics to align production and delivery schedules and monitor progress to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in production coordination, customer service, or order processing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on customer orders from confirmation to delivery.
• Liaise with Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics to schedule production and delivery.
• Monitor production progress and ensure orders meet timelines.
• Coordinate and monitor ETD to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
• Provide regular updates to Sales on order status and delivery arrangements.
• Assist Sales in handling customer requirements and order issues.
• Maintain records of orders, production status, delivery schedules and documents.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and flag delays to relevant departments.
• Ensure clear communication between Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics.
• Handle additional admin and coordination tasks related to production and orders.

Job description

This Production Officer cum CS role involves coordinating and following up on customer orders to ensure smooth processing from order confirmation until delivery. You will liaise closely with the Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics teams to coordinate production and delivery schedules, monitor production progress, and ensure orders are completed according to required timelines.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate and follow up on customer orders to ensure smooth processing from order confirmation until delivery

Liaise closely with the Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics teams to coordinate production and delivery schedules

Monitor production progress and follow up with the Production team to ensure orders are completed according to the required timeline

Coordinate and monitor Estimated Time of Delivery (ETD) to ensure finished goods are delivered to customers as scheduled

Provide regular updates to the Sales team regarding order status, production progress and delivery arrangements

Assist Sales personnel in coordinating customer requirements and resolving order-related issues

Prepare and maintain proper records of customer orders, production status, delivery schedules and related documents

Follow up on outstanding orders and highlight any potential delays to the relevant department

Ensure accurate and timely communication between Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics departments

Handle other administrative and coordination tasks related to production and customer orders as assigned by the superior

About you

Degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management or any related field

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Working experience in production coordination, customer service, order processing or manufacturing is an added advantage

Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills

Good organizational and time-management skills

Able to coordinate with multiple departments and follow up on tasks effectively

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

Able to work independently as well as in a team
