Job summary

UNIOLEO SDN BHD is seeking an experienced HR professional in Ipoh to oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, foreign worker payroll, attendance, and employee relations. You will ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and liaise with authorities to manage work passes and documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years in HR, preferably in manufacturing, with proficiency in SQL HRMS / payroll systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
  • Practical experience in handling foreign workers and liaising with relevant authorities
  • Basic knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Able to work independently and follow through on operational tasks
  • Proficient in SQL HRMS / payroll systems and Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented and strong in execution
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily HR operations including recruitment coordination, onboarding, foreign worker payroll, attendance tracking, and employee relations
  • Handle end-to-end foreign worker processes, including work permit applications/renewals, documentation, accommodation arrangements, welfare, and repatriation
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, immigration requirements, and internal policies
  • Liaise with government authorities, external agencies, and vendors on foreign worker and HR-related matters
  • Assist in handling disciplinary matters, employee grievances, and performance management processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and documentation
  • Support manpower planning and day-to-day workforce coordination with factory operations
  • Coordinate training sessions and HR-related activities
  • Monitor hostel/accommodation arrangements to ensure proper upkeep and worker welfare
