Jora Malaysia is seeking an HR Generalist to handle recruitment for local and foreign workers, administer employee records, and support employee relations and general HR tasks.
The role requires a Diploma/Degree in HR or related field with 2–3 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential; Mandarin is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office is expected, and experience with foreign worker management is advantageous.

Handle recruitment for local and foreign workers.
Arrange interviews, selection, medical checks and onboarding.
Liaise with recruitment agencies and hiring managers.
Monitor manpower requirements and recruitment progress.
Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
Prepare appointment, confirmation, transfer, promotion, warning and termination letters.
Monitor probation, contract renewal, resignation and employee movements.
Handle employee enquiries and HR-related matters.
Assist in handling employee complaints, grievances and disciplinary matters.
Prepare relevant HR documentation for disciplinary cases.
Support managers in resolving employee issues.
Assist with employee welfare and engagement activities.
Coordinate foreign worker recruitment, permits, renewals and documentation.
Liaise with recruitment agents and relevant authorities.
Monitor passport, work permit and medical examination expiry dates.
Assist with foreign worker welfare and related matters.
Manage and monitor Company-provided employee hostels and accommodation.
Maintain accurate records of hostel occupants and room allocation.
Coordinate check-in, check-out and room allocation.
Monitor hostel cleanliness, maintenance, facilities and general living conditions.
Liaise with hostel owners, landlords, contractors and service providers.
Conduct regular hostel inspections and follow up on identified issues.
Ensure employees comply with hostel rules and regulations.
Handle hostel-related complaints and resolve issues accordingly.
Monitor hostel rental, utilities, maintenance costs and related expenses.
Maintain proper hostel inspection, occupancy and payment records.
Ensure hostel arrangements comply with applicable legal, safety and Company requirements.
Support RBA, ISO, customer and internal audits.
Maintain proper HR records and supporting documents.
Assist in ensuring HR practices comply with Company policies and applicable employment requirements.
Support general HR and office administration.
Maintain proper filing and documentation.
Assist with employee welfare and Company activities.
Liaise with external vendors and service providers where required.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of HR practices and Malaysian employment requirements.
Experience in foreign worker and hostel management is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
