Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with experience handling foreign workers.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign worker recruitment, work permits, visa applications and renewals, immigration matters, and related documentation.
  • Familiar with dealing with government agencies and relevant authorities on foreign worker matters.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, HR policies and statutory requirements.
  • Experienced in managing employee records, attendance, leave, payroll coordination and other HR administrative matters.
  • Able to handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances and workplace issues professionally.
  • Experience in managing foreign worker matters including medical examinations FOMEMA, insurance, accommodation, repatriation and permit renewal.
  • Able to develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with company requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrate leadership and maintain confidentiality.
  • Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • Possess own transportation and be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain all foreign worker records and documentation, work permits, medical reports, insurance, and other relevant documents.
  • Handle the recruitment, and employment processes for foreign workers.
  • Manage work permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and related immigration matters.
  • Liaise with Immigration Department, Labour Department, FOMEMA, and other relevant government agencies on foreign worker matters.
  • Monitor the expiry dates of work permits, medical examinations, and other relevant documents to ensure timely renewal.
  • Coordinate foreign worker arrival, accommodation, transportation, and related arrangements where required.
  • Handle foreign worker attendance, leave, disciplinary issues, welfare, and employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, immigration requirements, and company HR policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and personnel files.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation related to foreign worker manpower and employment status.
  • Assist in handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues.
  • Perform other HR-related duties and administrative tasks as assigned by management.
