Job summary

Meritar Supply Chain Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support core HR functions across the organization in Malaysia. You will assist in manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation and employee relations.

The role requires a Bachelor degree or higher in HRM or Business Administration, 1–3 years of HR experience, and strong data handling, communication and organisational skills for a local regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in HRM, Business Administration or related field.
• 1-3 years HR experience, familiar with core HR modules and operations.
• Proficient in office software, data statistics, and document sorting.
• Good communication, coordination, and execution abilities.
• Familiar with local labor laws and able to handle employee relations.
• English reading and writing proficiency preferred for foreign enterprises.

• Execute full-cycle recruitment including resume screening, interview arrangement and offer follow-up.
• Complete employee entry procedures, onboarding and file management.
• Collect staff training demands, organize training activities, track results and records.

• Maintain daily employee communication and handle routine employee issues.

This is a Human Resources role responsible for supporting core HR functions across the organization, including manpower planning, recruitment, training, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in manpower planning and organizational structure optimization, including staffing data collection and talent reserve management
• Execute full-cycle recruitment, including resume screening, interview arrangement and offer follow-up
• Complete employee entry procedures, new staff onboarding and file management
• Collect staff training demands, organize training activities, track training results and maintain training records
• Assist in implementing company performance appraisal work and coordinate departmental assessment progress
• Assist in daily salary statistics, attendance verification and benefit settlement
• Maintain daily employee communication, handle routine employee problems and manage employee entry and exit procedures

About you

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related fields is preferred
• 1-3 years relevant HR working experience, familiar with the full six core HR modules and standard HR operation processes
• Proficient in office software, skilled in data statistics and document sorting, with good data sensitivity
• Good communication, coordination and execution abilities, careful and rigorous in work, strong sense of responsibility and team spirit
• Familiar with local labor laws and regulations, able to handle daily employee relations work compliantly
• Proficient in English reading and writing is preferred, suitable for foreign enterprise working environment.
