Job summary

Sunsuria Bhd, a dynamic publicly listed company in Malaysia, seeks an experienced Payroll & HR Administrator to manage end-to-end payroll, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and other statutory obligations.

You will collaborate with finance and HR teams, handle benefits, attendance, and leave, and contribute to audit-ready documentation. Fresh graduates are welcome; a Bachelor's degree is required and proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field. Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with strong proficiency in English.
• Solid knowledge of HR processes, payroll practices, and Malaysian labor laws.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HRIS/HRMS systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process including salary, allowances, overtime, deductions, and bonus calculations.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system (e.g., personal data, banking details, leave balances, and attendance records).
• Ensure statutory compliance by preparing and submitting contributions and reports to relevant authorities (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN, HRDF, Zakat, PTPTN, etc.).
• Oversee benefits administration including medical/insurance coverage, renewals, claims handling, wellness initiatives, and employee communication on benefits programs.
• Administer leave and attendance management, ensuring timely monitoring, reporting, and escalation of discrepancies.
• Establish and maintain proper documentation and filing systems for audit readiness.
• Undertake any ad hoc HR or payroll-related assignments as required by management.
