About the role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Officer to join our team at H.S.S. CONFECTIONERY FOODSTUFF SDN. BHD. in Muar, Johor. As an HR Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growing business by managing a range of HR-related responsibilities, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and training. What you'll be doing

Coordinating the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding of new employees

Administering employee records and ensuring compliance with all relevant HR policies and procedures

Providing support and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters

Assisting with the development and implementation of HR initiatives, such as training programmes and employee engagement activities

Maintaining and updating the company's HR information systems

Collaborating with the broader HR team to continually improve HR processes and practices

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar HR Officer or HR Generalist role

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law and HR-related systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems
