Job summary

Tech-Store Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, payroll, and employee relations in a fast-paced project-based environment.

You will ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, manage HR policies, and partner with line managers on workforce planning and organizational changes while driving governance and process improvements across the HR function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of HR experience including managing an HR function/team.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end HR operations and employee lifecycle, from onboarding through separation.
• Lead recruitment execution for approved vacancies and ensure timely hiring progress.
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters, with appropriate escalation of complex cases.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation, statutory requirements, HR policies and procedures.
• Oversee payroll inputs, leave, attendance, benefits, employee records and HR documentation.
• Maintain and improve HR policies, SOPs, processes and internal controls.
• Supervise HR team members and ensure timely, accurate delivery of HR operational requirements.
• Maintain HR and recruitment dashboards, trackers and management reports.
• Support performance-management, onboarding, offboarding and employee-engagement activities.
• Partner with HRBP on workforce planning, manpower requirements, organizational changes and HR initiatives.
• Provide operational HR advice and support to line managers and employees.
• Ensure proper case documentation, handover, follow-through and closure of HR matters.

Job Requirements

• Strong hands‑on HR Operations & Employee Relations experience.
• Proven experience handling discipline, grievance, performance and employee cases independently.
• Strong end‑to‑end recruitment experience.
• Sound knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing payroll inputs, benefits, leave, employee lifecycle and HR documentation.
• Strong HR governance, policy and SOP implementation capability.
• Experience supervising an HR team and driving deliverables to closure.
• Strong stakeholder management with management and employees across all levels.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is essential.
• Hands‑on, accountable, decisive and strong in follow‑through — not purely administrative.
• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.

Experience Level

HRM: Minimum 7–10 years of relevant HR experience, including experience managing an HR function/team.
