Job summary

Service Global Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for its growing logistics operations. The role covers employee relations, recruitment, payroll coordination, performance management, HR policies, compliance and workforce planning.

The successful candidate will oversee HR processes, advise management, and drive HR development initiatives, while maintaining accurate records and delivering timely HR reports in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, fleet, or operations is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and HR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the HR function and daily operations.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and manpower planning.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters and grievances.
• Review and manage HR documentation including contracts and letters.
• Oversee performance appraisal, KPIs, promotions and career development.
• Monitor attendance, payroll matters and employee records.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate statutory matters (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).
• Advise management on HR issues and practices.
• Develop training and development programmes.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR databases.
• Support workforce planning for drivers, fleet, warehouse, and operations.
• Monitor engagement, retention and workplace culture.
• Prepare HR and manpower reports for management.
• Collaborate with department managers on manpower needs.
• Lead and develop the HR team to deliver service.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the company's HR function. The successful candidate will oversee employee relations, recruitment, payroll coordination, performance management, HR policies, compliance, and workforce planning to support the company's growing logistics operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage the overall HR function and daily HR operations
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee guidelines
• Review and manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and manpower planning
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace issues
• Review employment contracts, appointment letters, confirmation letters, promotion letters, warning letters, and other HR documentation
• Manage performance appraisal, KPI, promotion, and career development processes
• Monitor attendance, leave, overtime, payroll-related matters, and employee records
• Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements
• Coordinate statutory matters including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other relevant requirements
• Advise management on HR matters, employment practices, and employee-related issues
• Develop training and development programmes for employees
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases
• Support workforce planning for drivers, fleet, warehouse, operations, administration, and other departments
• Monitor employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture
• Prepare HR reports, manpower reports, and management updates
• Work closely with department managers to address operational manpower requirements
• Lead and develop the HR team to ensure effective HR service delivery

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with managerial or supervisory experience
• Experience in the logistics, transportation, warehousing, fleet, or operations industry will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment practices and HR procedures
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary procedures, payroll, and HR administration
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and HR systems
• Able to work independently and make sound HR decisions
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Willing to work in a fast‑paced and growing logistics environment
