Job summary

SBC Lighting Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR and Administration, developing and implementing policies, SOPs, and processes in line with Malaysian employment laws and BURSA requirements. The role demands strong governance, payroll oversight, and stakeholder interaction at senior levels.

The candidate will manage HR operations, drive performance and rewards structures, and guide junior HR staff while ensuring statutory compliance and robust policy frameworks

Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with the Employment Act, IR/ER, and handling grievances or disciplinary matters.
• Hands-on management of EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax/payroll processing.
• Understanding of public-listed reporting expectations, policy framework setup, and employee handbooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of HR and Administration functions, with responsibility for developing and implementing HR policies, procedures and SOPs in compliance with Malaysian employment laws and BURSA.
• Oversee Malaysian Employment Law compliance and industrial relations matters.
• Drive statutory compliance including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and payroll processing.
• Ensure corporate governance through policy frameworks, reporting readiness, and employee handbooks.
• Coordinate stakeholder management, reporting to CEO and board committees.
• Design KPI frameworks, appraisal processes, salary structures and benefits programs.
• Mentor and guide junior HR team members.
