Job summary

Houzs Century Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Generalist TA to join our growing HR team. The role covers Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Employee Relations and HR Operations, ensuring strict adherence to Malaysian employment regulations.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive and capable of managing multiple HR functions while maintaining accurate records and reports for management.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant HR experience.
• Experience in recruitment, payroll and HR operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviews, interview coordination, salary negotiation, onboarding and offboarding.
• Monitor employee attendance, behaviour and performance; handle employee relations matters, investigations, misconduct cases and disciplinary documentation.
• Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including attendance verification, overtime calculations, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, leave adjustments, claims, salary advances, commissions and payroll reporting.
• Maintain and update employee records, HRIS databases and HR documentation, including recruitment, payroll, attendance and disciplinary records.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, statutory requirements and HR best practices, and support the implementation and improvement of HR policies and procedures.
• Prepare and provide weekly HR updates and reports covering recruitment progress, payroll matters and HR operational issues to management and key stakeholders.
• Perform other HR, Talent Acquisition, payroll and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities
