Job summary

Quectel Wireless Solutions Penang Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable Human Resources Generalist to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, build talent pipelines, and partner with leaders on workforce planning.

The role demands strong Mandarin and English communication, solid knowledge of Malaysian labor law, and proficiency with HRIS and MS Office. You will maintain records, support audits, and contribute to engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in Compensation & Benefits.
• Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, with ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding and reporting.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines including campus recruitment and employer branding.
• Partner with Hiring Managers to understand hiring requirements and workforce planning.
• Maintain accurate HR records, HRIS data, and confidentiality.
• Prepare HR reports and support audits and documentation.
• Support employee engagement, performance management, and HR process improvements.
• Perform other HR duties as assigned.

Job description

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including manpower requisition, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, onboarding, and recruitment reporting.

Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs, including campus recruitment and employer branding initiatives.

Partner with Hiring Managers and business leaders to understand hiring requirements, workforce planning, and people development needs.

Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, personnel files, and HR documentation while ensuring data confidentiality and accuracy.

Prepare HR reports, support internal and external audits, and ensure proper HR documentation and record keeping.

Support employee engagement activities, performance management, HR process improvement initiatives, and other HR projects.

Perform any other HR duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

• 1) Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, major in HR is preferred.
• 2) Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with a focus on Compensation & Benefits.
• 3) Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
• 4) Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements.
• 5) Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• 6) Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
• 7) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
