Upscale Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an HR generalist to handle day-to-day HR operations for the Malaysia branch, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, compliance and employee relations, with close collaboration with China HQ.

You will manage expatriate work passes, maintain HRIS records, contribute to policy updates, and support engagement, training, and performance cycles while translating HR matters to Mandarin.

Competenze

• Diploma or degree in HRM or related field.
• 2–5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in an MNC or Chinese-owned company.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment law and statutory requirements.
• Mandarin speaking and writing preferred; good English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience with HRIS or payroll software is an advantage.

Mansioni

• Manage full hiring process: postings, screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Maintain employee records, the HRIS and personnel files.
• Prepare monthly payroll inputs and handle statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD Corp).
• Manage leave, attendance, claims and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and local labour laws.
• Assist with expatriate services and visa/work passes for China staff.
• Support engagement, training and performance appraisal cycles.
• Liaise between Malaysia team and China HQ, including Mandarin translations.
• Update HR policies, handbook and SOPs.
