Sinopec Engineering Group Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Executive to manage monthly payroll and statutory payments, and to handle Employment Pass applications with government liaising. You will maintain employee records, prepare HR monthly data reports, and support management with HR and admin tasks.

The role requires a degree in HR/Business, 1–3 years of HR/Admin experience with Malaysian government interactions, and fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin for China HQ

Qualifikationen

• Degree or above in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (Fresh graduate welcome).
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an HR/Admin role with proven experience dealing with Malaysian government bodies.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
• Good command of Mandarin as required to communicate with stakeholders from China HQ.
• Proficient in HR system such as HR2000.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysian Labour Law (Employment Act 1955).
• Positive thinker and a strong problem solver.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and process monthly payroll and statutory payments in accordance with deadlines and legal requirements.
• End-to-end handling of Employment Pass (EP) applications, renewals, cancellations, and related government agency liaisons (e.g., CIDB, MYXpats, Immigration).
• Maintain and update employee records in the HR systems and ensure personal files are well managed.
• Prepare regular HR monthly data reports for management and HQ to review.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes including manpower planning, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
• Assist in handling employee relations matters and ensure compliance with company policies and labour regulations.
• Support offboarding processes including resignation, clearance, and exit documentation.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Source, negotiation, and manage vendors for office supplies, facilities, maintenance, cleaning, security and other services.
• Provide general HR and administrative support to management and employees.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by HOD from time to time.
