Upscale Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an HR Generalist to manage daily HR operations for the Malaysia branch, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and compliance. You will liaise with China HQ and handle expatriate processes as needed.

The role requires 2–5 years in HR, knowledge of Malaysian labour law, and Mandarin language skills are preferred. Local laws, payroll, and HRIS experience will be advantageous.

Competenze

• 2–5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in an MNC or Chinese-owned company.
• Knowledge of Malaysian employment law and statutory requirements.
• Mandarin speaking and writing is preferred to communicate with China HQ.

Mansioni

• Handle day-to-day HR operations for the Malaysia branch, including recruitment and onboarding.
• Maintain employee records and the HRIS and personnel files.
• Prepare payroll inputs and submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD Corp).
• Manage leave, attendance, claims and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and Malaysian labour laws.
• Handle expatriate work passes and visas for China staff.
• Support engagement, training coordination and performance appraisals.
• Translate and report HR matters in Mandarin between Malaysia and China HQ.
