Job summary

ByteBridge Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an HR Generalist to handle day-to-day HR operations for the Malaysia team. You will manage recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll coordination, and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with local labour laws.

The role requires 3+ years of HR experience in Malaysia, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. IT/data center industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant HR experience in Malaysia
• Familiar with Malaysian employment laws (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
• Experience in recruitment, payroll and general HR administration
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks
• Experience in IT/engineering/data center industries is an advantage

• Coordinate new joiner onboarding and employee offboarding
• Prepare employment contracts, HR letters and other employee documentation
• Coordinate monthly payroll and ensure accurate EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB contributions
• Manage employee leave, attendance, probation and benefits administration
• Handle employee queries and provide support on HR-related matters
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements
• Assist with employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases and performance management
