Job summary

ByteBridge Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an HR Generalist to handle day-to-day HR operations for the Malaysia team. You will manage recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll coordination, and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with local labour laws.

The role requires 3+ years of HR experience in Malaysia, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. IT/data center industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• At least 3 years of relevant HR experience in Malaysia
• Familiar with Malaysian employment laws (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
• Experience in recruitment, payroll and general HR administration
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks
• Experience in IT/engineering/data center industries is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day HR operations for the Malaysia team
• Manage recruitment activities: job postings, screening resumes, arranging interviews, offers
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding
• Prepare employment contracts and HR letters
• Coordinate monthly payroll and EPF/SOCSO/EIS/PCB contributions
• Manage leave, attendance, probation and benefits
• Address employee queries and HR-related matters
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements
• Assist with employee relations, disciplinary cases and performance management
• Maintain employee records and HR reports as required

Education

Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
