This full-time role supports our human resources function, fosters a positive workplace culture, and ensures compliance with employment regulations. You will manage employee relations, coordinate training, and provide HR solutions that align with company objectives while championing employee wellbeing.

Formación

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in HR, preferably in recruitment and HR admin.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and labor regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HR Executive to join our team in Simpang Ampat, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our human resources function and driving our people strategy. The HR Executive will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. You will work closely with management and employees alike to deliver effective HR solutions that support both organizational objectives and employee wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate, and track the annual training plan;
• Plan, implement, and review company-wide centralized training programs, including but not limited to management training, factory technical training, general education programs, and new hire orientation;
• Manage and maintain the training management system;
• Prepare human resources reports;
• Draft HR-related announcements and administer employee reward and disciplinary actions;
• Support continuous improvement and employee suggestion programs;
• Prepare administrative and management meeting materials (e.g., staffing levels, turnover rate, retention rate, and reward/disciplinary status);
• Perform other reasonable duties and provide support as assigned by superior.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in recruitment and HR administration. Experience in either an in-house HR team or recruitment agency is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and labor regulations
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken, written and reading) is highly preferred. The role requires frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking employees and stakeholders, as well as translation of HR policies, SOPs, training materials, employment documents and internal communications between English and Chinese.
