About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Executive (Recruitment/Training/Payroll) to join our clients in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our human resources operations and contributing to the strategic development of our workforce. As an HR Executive, you will be responsible for managing multiple facets of human resources, including recruitment, training and development, and payroll administration. This position is essential to ensuring our organisation attracts, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining accurate and compliant payroll processes.

What you'll be doing

• Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
• Coordinating and delivering training programmes and development initiatives to support employee growth and skill enhancement
• Administering payroll functions, including processing salary payments, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Maintaining accurate employee records and documentation in accordance with HR policies and regulations
• Supporting performance management processes and employee relations matters
• Liaising with external recruitment agencies and training providers as needed
• Assisting with HR policy implementation and ensuring adherence across the organisation
• Preparing HR reports and analytics to support business decision-making

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR roles, with exposure to recruitment, training, and payroll functions
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and payroll regulations
• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and payroll software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
