Job summary

Zubir Food Sdn Bhd is seeking an HR Assistant to support the HR team with daily administrative duties, end-to-end recruitment, and confidential records management across manufacturing and operations.

You will coordinate leave, attendance, onboarding, and payroll support; candidates with 1–2 years of HR experience and familiarity with Malaysia's Employment Act are encouraged to apply; interns welcome.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Admin, Psychology, or related field.
• 1–2 years in HR admin or assistant role.
• Good understanding of Malaysian Labour Law and basic EPF/SOCSO/EIS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post job advertisements on recruitment platforms and social media channels.
• Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate logistics with hiring managers.
• Prepare onboarding packages and schedule orientation sessions for new hires.
• Maintain and update confidential employee files and ensure data privacy.
• Issue HR letters including contracts, confirmations, and announcements.
• Manage leave applications, attendance, and medical claim records.
• Assist in payroll data processing, OT, allowances, and attendance entries.
• Coordinate statutory deductions and registrations (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Assist as first point of contact for routine employee inquiries on policies and benefits.
• Support workforce coordination for factory, warehouse, and operations personnel.
