Jora Malaysia is seeking an motivated HR/Administration assistant to support day‑to‑day HR functions in a dynamic, international setting. You will assist payroll, statutory contributions and recruitment while maintaining accurate employee records and facilitating onboarding and onboarding processes.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day HR and administrative functions, including payroll preparation, statutory contributions, recruitment, onboarding, employee records, work pass administration, performance management and general HR administration.

Assist with monthly payroll preparation, including attendance, overtime, allowances and deductions.
Assist with statutory submissions and payments, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.
Support recruitment activities, including job advertisements, candidate screening and interview coordination.
Prepare employment contracts and coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding.
Maintain accurate employee records, leave, attendance and HR system information.
Assist with work permit/pass applications, renewals and related documentation.
Support performance review and employee objective-setting processes.
Prepare HR reports and assist with HR audits and compliance documentation.
Coordinate employee benefits, training and other HR-related activities.
Provide general office and administrative support as required.

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in HR, payroll or administration is preferred.
Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of payroll and Malaysian statutory requirements such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB would be an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Able to maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
Experience using HRIS/payroll systems such as BrioHR would be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is responsible, organised, willing to learn and comfortable handling multiple HR administrative tasks. You should be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, managers and external service providers.
