Job summary

Thong Seng Security Sdn.Bhd. in Kulai, Johor is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage all aspects of human resources operations and strategy on a full-time basis.

You will support talent acquisition, employee relations, policy development and payroll, ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws while aligning HR initiatives with our business objectives. Reporting to the management team, you will drive workforce planning, training, confidentiality, and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of HR management experience.
• Relevant qualification in Human Resources or Business Administration.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law.
• Experience in security or related industries is advantageous.
• Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team at our Kulai, Johor office on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal to the success of our organisation, as you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources operations and strategy. As an HR specialist within a management context, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business objectives by ensuring we have the right talent, maintain strong employee relations, and foster a positive organisational culture that aligns with our company values.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, select and onboard new employees across all levels of the organisation, ensuring a smooth integration process
• Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary matters and performance management discussions
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with Malaysian labour laws and regulations
• Oversee payroll administration, leave management and employee benefits in coordination with relevant departments
• Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate professional development programmes for staff
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
• Support management with strategic workforce planning and succession planning initiatives
• Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and provide HR guidance to managers and staff
• Monitor compliance with employment legislation and ensure the organisation adheres to all regulatory requirements
• Contribute to building and maintaining a positive workplace culture and employee engagement

What we're looking for

• A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in a Human Resources management role
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and labour regulations
• Excellent recruitment and talent acquisition skills with experience in the security or related industries being advantageous
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of staff
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
