About the role
We are seeking an HR & Administration Executive to join our team in Kuala Lumpur on a full-time basis. As an HR & Administration Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing people-related processes, supporting employee engagement, and ensuring smooth operational workflows across the academy. This position requires someone who can balance strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day administrative excellence, serving as a key point of contact for both employees and management.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end human resource function, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Administer employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
- Process payroll information, leave applications, and employee benefits administration
- Provide support for employee relations matters, including handling inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary procedures
- Manage human resource and administration documents such as memorandum issuant, relevant applications, letter drafting and stamping.
- Organise and coordinate staff events, training programmes, and employee engagement activities.
- Maintain and update HR databases and management information systems
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Provide support to senior management on HR and administrative matters.
- Prepare report on employee statistics, performances, and proposals for improvement and development.
- Foster a positive and engaging work environment for all employees.
Working time
What we're looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in an HR and administration role or similar capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR management systems
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling confidential information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements
- Experience with payroll administration or employee benefits management would be advantageous
- Familiarity with the education or sports industry would be beneficial
