Our client is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join their team!

What you'll be doing?
- Leading full-spectrum HR operations: Oversee the end-to-end HR function, including recruitment, payroll processing, and HR administration, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all people-related activities.
- Managing payroll and statutory requirements: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and prepare workers' annual EA forms in accordance with regulatory obligations.
- Ensuring immigration and regulatory compliance: Manage foreign workers' applications and permit renewals while ensuring full compliance with immigration regulations and relevant government policies.
- Overseeing workers' hostel management: Ensure company-managed hostels are well-maintained and meet all applicable government regulations and standards.
- Managing suppliers and office operations: Source and maintain a reliable network of suppliers for staff welfare services, and oversee the purchasing, maintenance, and operational efficiency of office equipment.
- Monitoring vehicle administration: Keep track of road tax and insurance renewal schedules for all company vehicles to ensure continuous compliance and operational readiness.
- Driving employee engagement: Lead meaningful employee engagement programmes and handle disciplinary matters with fairness, consistency, and professionalism.
- Facilitating training and onboarding: Develop and conduct orientation and training programmes for new employees, setting them up for success from day one.
- Supporting management with HR advisory: Provide sound HR advice to management and contribute actively to manpower planning discussions that shape the organisation's workforce strategy.
Who are they looking for?
- Educational background: A Degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification provides the professional foundation needed for this role.
- Relevant experience: A minimum of 5 years of HR experience within the service industry is required, reflecting the breadth and seniority of responsibilities involved in this position.
- Knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws: In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws and HR best practices is essential for ensuring compliance and providing credible guidance to management and staff alike.
- Language proficiency: Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia is required for effective communication with diverse internal teams, employees, and government bodies across all HR-related matters.
- Organisational and interpersonal skills: A self-motivated, well-organised approach with the ability to multitask effectively, paired with excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and collaboration across all levels of the organisation.
- Computer literacy and mobility: Strong computer literacy is essential for managing HR systems and documentation, and possession of own transport is required to support the operational demands of the role.
