Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a friendly Hotel Receptionist to be the first contact for guests. You will greet guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, answer inquiries, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.

Fresh graduates are welcome. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred; additional languages are a plus. Training is provided with career paths into supervisory roles within a growing hotel group.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reception or customer service is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and guest enquiries.
• Manage reservations and room availability.
• Process payments and issue receipts accurately.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance for ready rooms.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Maintain accurate guest records and daily reports.
• Ensure the front desk and lobby are clean and presentable.
