Job summary

DKSH Malaysia invites applications for a Sales Executive, Food Services to drive sales growth across the Food Services channel. You will acquire new clients, deepen relationships with hotels, restaurants, and caterers, and execute targeted strategies that boost revenue and brand loyalty.

You will build strong external relationships with Executive Chefs, F&B Managers, and R&D Leaders, train sub-distributors, demonstrate products, and ensure timely delivery and collections while meeting KPIs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Culinary, Bakery, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years in a similar role; experience in sales with exposure to HORECA is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of the industry, market landscape, competitors, and customers.
• Strong selling, communication and negotiation skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Identify new sales opportunities across territories with competitive strategies and tailored proposals.
• Gather market intelligence and contribute to SWOT analysis.
• Build strong relationships with Executive Chefs, F&B Managers, and R&D Managers.
• Provide guidance and training to Sub-Distributors and Wholesalers.
• Conduct product demonstrations, menu creation, and blind testing with customers.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs across assigned accounts.
• Research market data to support negotiations and informed decisions.
• Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and on-time product delivery.
