Job summary

DKSH Group in Kota Bharu, Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive, Food Services to drive sales growth across the Food Services channel and manage key customer accounts. You will implement targeted sales strategies, build relationships with Executive Chefs, F&B Managers, and drive brand loyalty through demonstrations and tailored proposals.

The role requires 1–2 years in a similar sales position, in the HORECA sector is highly desirable, with strong negotiation, communication, and planning skills

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Culinary, Bakery, Hospitality, or related field.
• 1–2 years in a similar sales role; HORECA exposure preferred.
• Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify new sales opportunities across assigned territories and develop competitive strategies and tactical plans.
• Gather market intelligence and contribute to SWOT analysis by tracking competitor activities and market trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with Executive Chefs, F&B Managers, and R&D Managers to drive brand loyalty.
• Provide direction and training to Sub-Distributors and Wholesalers to strengthen channel performance.
• Conduct product demonstrations, menu creation sessions, and blind testing with customers.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs across assigned accounts to grow sustainable revenue.
• Research market data to generate actionable insights for negotiations and decisions.
• Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and product delivery to meet expectations.
• Drive ongoing Food Services knowledge and DKSH values to support personal growth.
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.
