Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad in Malaysia seeks a capable Sales Manager to lead the sales office and drive performance across the designated area, ensuring targets and KPIs are met. You will motivate teams, oversee resource management, coach staff, and maintain strong relationships with business associates to uphold service standards and timely credit processing.

This on-site role requires strategic planning, cross-selling, and consistent review of weekly targets to maximise profitability and local market

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, implements and manages sales office and operations to achieve the area target
• Manages, supervises and leads sub-ordinates to achieve overall business budget
• Motivates and enhances the performance of sales teams to maximise local market business opportunities
• Oversees resource management, including capacity planning, productivity, staff discipline and compliance
• Reviews weekly sales targets / activities and identify the need for coaching and direction to ensure targets are met
• Maintains awareness of competitors’ activities and industry best practices
• Ensures cross selling and deep selling (consumers to hold more than one product)
• Approves quality credits as per approving matrix
• Ensures daily operations of designated area are working within TAT
• Attends to LDC and operational issues tactfully and diligently
• Maximises sales office’s profitability and other KPIs set for the Division
• Holds regular meetings with designated area staff to cascade management’s directions, goals and guidelines, etc.
• Maintains good rapport with business associates to ensure service standards on turnaround time for credit application processing and approval are consistently met
