Job summary

FM GLOBAL LOGISTICS (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Customer Service Executive to provide professional support for haulage operations. You will coordinate customer requests, container movements, and documentation while acting as the communication link among customers, Haulage Operations, Planning, Drivers, Workshop, Billing, and FM/Export/Import teams.

The role requires a diploma/degree in logistics or related fields and 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, logistics, haulage, shipping, freight forwarding or transportation.
• Customer-oriented attitude

• Able to handle multiple jobs simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Handle daily customer enquiries through email, phone, WhatsApp and other communication channels
• Respond promptly to customer requests, operational enquiries and complaints
• Provide customers with accurate updates on container collection, empty container return, laden delivery, MT delivery/collection, vessel schedule, truck/driver status, and delay or operational issues
• Maintain good customer relationships and ensure professional communication at all times
• Receive and verify customer haulage instructions and bookings
• Check important information before releasing jobs to Operations including container number, booking number, vessel/voyage, shipping line, POL/POD, empty depot, loading/unloading location, required date and time, customer reference, and special requirements
• Coordinate with planners to ensure jobs are properly scheduled
• Monitor and follow up on the status of containers throughout the haulage process
• Monitor container free time and D&D exposure and identify containers approaching free-time expiry
• Receive and acknowledge customer complaints promptly, investigate issues with relevant departments, and coordinate corrective actions
