Job summary

FM GLOBAL LOGISTICS (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Inbound Customer Service Executive for FM Multimodal to manage inbound LCL/FCL shipments and coordinate with overseas partners. You will liaise with agents, customers, carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring shipments from pre-alert to delivery, handling enquiries, quotations, and billing instructions, and supporting rate requests.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business or related field.
• Preferably 2-5 years' experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC or ocean freight customer service.
• Good understanding of import LCL/FCL procedures and shipping documentation.
• Commercially minded with good customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple shipments.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound LCL/FCL customer service and shipment coordination.
• Liaise with overseas agents, customers, carriers and internal operations teams.
• Monitor shipments from pre-alert, vessel arrival, customs clearance until final delivery.
• Attend to customer enquiries, shipment updates and operational exceptions.
• Support commercial matters including rate enquiries, quotations, costing and customer follow-up.
• Ensure timely system updates, documentation, billing instmctions and shipment closure.
• Coordinate closely with operations to ensure service requirements and delivery timelines are met.
• Maintain good working relationships with customers and overseas partners.
