Job summary

BELLE ATELIER SDN. BHD. in Subang Jaya is seeking a Bakery Assistant to support daily baking, decorating, packaging, and storage of cakes and pastries, while maintaining high quality and halal compliance.

You will work in the Bakery / Production department, follow recipes and production schedules, keep workstation clean, and help ensure halal handling throughout the process. Must be a Malaysian citizen and Muslim, willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be a Malaysian citizen.
• Must be Muslim, as required by the company's halal-related job requirements.
• Interested in baking, cake preparation, and bakery production.
• Previous bakery or food production experience is an advantage.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, or overtime when required.
• Physically fit to perform bakery duties, including prolonged standing and handling ingredients or equipment.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients, mixing batter, and baking cakes according to recipes and production schedules.
• Assist with cake decorating, finishing, packaging, labelling, and storing finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, baking equipment, utensils, and production areas.
• Ensure all ingredients meet halal requirements and follow halal handling procedures.
• Check ingredient labels, expiry dates, and halal certification status.
• Follow food safety, personal hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with ingredient stock control and report shortages or damaged materials.
• Ensure bakery products meet quality standards.
• Perform other bakery-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
