Big Root Legacy Group is seeking an enthusiastic Bakery Production Helper to assist in daily pastry and bakery product preparation, baking, and packaging. The role emphasizes food safety, Halal compliance, and adherence to company standards to ensure consistent quality.

The ideal candidate will follow standard recipes, maintain hygiene, manage inventory, and work as part of a detail-oriented team to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Certificate or qualification in Bakery, Pastry, or Culinary Arts is an advantage.
• Experience in bakery, pastry, or food production is preferred.
• Fresh graduates and candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Basic baking and ingredient preparation skills.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and production schedules.
• Good teamwork, time management, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, mixing, baking, and producing pastries, cakes, bread, and other bakery products.
• Follow standard recipes, measurements, and production instructions.
• Ensure products meet taste, texture, appearance, and freshness standards.
• Report any product defects or inconsistencies to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and Halal procedures.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients and finished products.
• Assist in checking ingredient stocks and reporting shortages.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, stock rotation, and minimization of ingredient wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness of baking equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Ensure equipment is handled safely and report any damage or malfunction.
• Support daily production targets and schedules.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparation of products for delivery or distribution.
