Job summary

Goodcoco Sdn Bhd is seeking a bakery production assistant to prepare dough, fillings and bake buns according to standard recipes. You will maintain cleanliness, follow HACCP and HALAL standards, and work with the team to ensure consistent product quality in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety rules, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Certificate / Diploma in Pastry, Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• SPM or STPM.
• Experience in bakery or F&B production preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily mise-en-place, ingredients, dough and fillings required for production.
• Follow standard recipes, measurements and production procedures accurately.
• Handle dough preparation, mixing, dividing, shaping, proofing, baking and finishing.
• Ensure all bakery products meet the required quality, appearance, texture and consistency.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and report any defects or production issues.
• Adhere to food safety & hygiene regulations, including HACCP & HALAL standards.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, labeling and rotation of ingredients.
• Keep equipment, utensils and work areas clean and sanitized.
• Monitor ingredient levels and inform team leader or purchaser when stock is low.
• Work closely with team to ensure smooth daily production.
