Job summary

Accor's ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri invites passionate front desk professionals to join our guest services team. You will assist guests with check-in and check-out, register guests, and issue keys according to standards, while promoting hotel facilities to maximize revenue.

We value fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of guest service experience. Experience with Opera PMS and handling guest inquiries is advantageous; flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of guest service experience.
• Experience in a hotel, resort or customer-service environment is an advantage.
• Experience with check-in/out, cashiering and guest enquiries is preferred.
• Experience with international hotel brands such as Accor is an advantage.
• Experience using a PMS such as Opera is an advantage.
• Candidates must be comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check in and checkout procedures efficiently, as well as other cashiering duties.
• Welcome guests on arrival, register and issue room keys according to departmental standards and procedures.
• Ensure that members consistently receive all benefits, and repeat guests and other VIP’s receive special recognition and service.
• Promote Inter-Hotel sales and in-house facilities according to departmental standards to maximize revenue.
• Handling guests’ mails, messages, and answering of phone calls.
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed.
