Job summary

ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri is seeking a Guest Service Agent to assist guests with check-in/check-out and cashiering while ensuring VIP guests receive exceptional service.

The role requires welcoming guests, registering and issuing keys, and promoting hotel facilities to maximise revenue. Rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of guest service experience.
• Experience in hotel or customer-service environment is an advantage.
• Experience with check-in, check-out, cashiering, and guest enquiries preferred.
• Experience with an international hotel brand such as Accor is advantageous.
• Comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check in and checkout procedures efficiently, as well as other cashiering duties.
• Welcome guests on arrival, register and issue room keys according to departmental standards and procedures.
• Ensure that members consistently receive all benefits, and repeat guests and other VIPs receive special recognition and service.
• Promote Inter-Hotel sales and in-house facilities to maximize revenue.
• Handling guests' mails, messages, and answering of phone calls.
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed.

Job Description

• Experience with check-in, check-out, cashiering and guest enquiries is preferred.


• Previous experience with an international hotel brand such as Accor would be an advantage.


• Experience using a PMS such as Opera is an advantage.


• Candidates must be comfortable working rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
