Job summary

ibis Styles Johor Iskandar Puteri seeks an experienced Front Office supervisor to oversee the entire Front Office operations, ensuring service standards align with the hotel’s strategic plan. You will analyze market trends, optimize room revenue, and coordinate group movements for meetings and conferences.

The role requires a Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management, at least 3 years’ relevant experience, and strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage overall Front Office operations in line with the hotel’s strategic plan and standards.
• Analyze market trends, review rooming lists and motivate Front Office staff to upsell rooms to increase revenue.
• Coordinate full house situations, handling overbooking and relocate pledges as needed.
• Coordinate and monitor major group movements for meetings and conferences, ensuring action plans cover all operations.
• Manage daily room inventory and liaise with Housekeeping to meet arrival times.
• Develop and conduct staff training programs to enhance skills and meet business needs.
