Job summary

Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil invites applications for a Host - Gallery. The role is an hourly/entry-level position reporting to the Front Office Manager, with responsibilities spanning guest greeting, check-in/out support, and upselling.

Candidates should be comfortable rotating across Rooms and related departments and communicating in English and Malay. Due to work permit restrictions, the position is open to Malaysian citizens and permanent residents of Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or front office is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills in English and Malay; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Be flexible and rotate within Rooms division or other departments as assigned.
• Report guest complaints or problems to supervisors and ensure follow-up with guests.
• Be aware of hotel services, facilities, and promotions, and use upselling techniques.
• Balance cash reports and remittance envelopes; perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain regular contact with long-stay and suite guests to ensure a pleasant stay.
