Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a professional Hotel Front Office team member in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. This on-site, full-time role places you as the primary contact for guests from arrival to departure, delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring a memorable stay.

You will manage reservations, payments, and guest records using hotel management systems, while coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs. Flexibility to work shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Proficiency in using hotel management systems; willingness to learn new systems.
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable, organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and warmth, handling check-in/check-out accurately.
• Respond to guest enquiries and requests promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Operate the front desk system to process reservations, payments and guest records.
• Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Maintain a clean, organised, welcoming front desk area at all times.
• Process payments and reconcile cash/credit transactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to address guest needs.
• Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Assist with room allocation and special requests where possible.
