Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a business growth professional to identify and acquire new industrial clients in Penang. You will lead pipeline expansion and connect local manufacturers with cutting-edge factory automation solutions.

You will prospect opportunities, conduct site visits, and collaborate with presales to draft proposals, driving end-to-end sales and ensuring smooth handovers to delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical) or Business.
• 2–4 years of B2B solution-selling experience within industrial automation or manufacturing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage factory decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer plants across Penang and the Northern Region.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and industry events.
• Conduct site visits and factory walkthroughs to identify operational bottlenecks and client needs.
• Collaborate with technical presales teams to present capabilities, draft concepts, and prepare proposals.
• Drive the end-to-end sales cycle to successfully win and close new client accounts.
• Ensure a smooth handover of newly secured projects to internal delivery and account management teams.
