Randstad Malaysia is seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive to identify and acquire new industrial clients across Penang and the Northern Region, driving pipeline expansion for cutting-edge factory automation and Industry 4.0 solutions.

You will lead end-to-end sales from initial contact to closing, conduct site visits, and partner with internal presales to draft tailored proposals for factory management and plant directors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical) or Business.
• 2–4 years of B2B solution sales experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or capital equipment.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with proven ability to pitch to factory management and plant directors.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Penang and the Northern Region for client plant visits.

Responsabilités

• New Business Acquisition: Prospect and secure new client accounts through strategic cold outreach, networking, and industry events.
• On-Site Needs Assessment: Conduct site visits and factory walkthroughs to analyze client operations and pinpoint automation bottlenecks.
• Proposal & Solution Pitching: Partner with internal presales teams to draft concepts and present tailored automation proposals to key decision-makers.
• End-to-End Sales Execution: Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation, closing, and project handoff.
