Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a part-time IT Support role to assist staff with hardware, software, and network issues on-site in Malaysia. The successful candidate will troubleshoot devices, assist with installations, manage user accounts, and perform routine maintenance and backups.

Fresh graduates, students, or individuals with relevant knowledge are welcome to apply. On-site availability is required to support staff and maintain IT equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Part-time applicants, students, or fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are welcome.
• Willing to work on-site and provide support when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic IT support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, email, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
• Support user account setup, email configuration, and basic access management.
• Perform regular checks on computers, network devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist in resolving IT issues promptly and expand complex technical problems when required.
• Maintain proper records of IT equipment, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist with data backup, system updates, antivirus checks, and basic IT security.
• Provide on-site IT assistance when required.
• Perform other IT-related tasks assigned by the management.
