Job summary

Perodua is seeking an IT Technical Assistant to provide end-user support for systems, hardware, network and applications. The role involves monitoring IT infrastructure for optimal performance, managing assets, and delivering support for after-hours activities across business locations.

You will participate in system deployments, data reporting, and DR exercises, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma in relevant IT discipline.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Willingness to work after hours and travel if required.

• Provide end-user support for system, hardware, network, and application-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, infrastructure, and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Manage IT assets, equipment maintenance, and operational readiness across business locations.
• Deliver technical support for operational, after-hours, and business-critical activities as required.
• Support system installation, testing, deployment, and enhancement projects.
• Perform system data extraction, reporting, and verification activities to meet business needs.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises and business continuity initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through process enhancement, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Network or related IT disciplines.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to work after office hours, on standby duties, and travel when required to support business operations.
• Possess a good knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking and technical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
• Experience in IT support, helpdesk, technical support or system administration will be an added advantage.
