Job summary

TikTok is seeking a diligent Quality Assurance role within the Search Operations team in Kuala Lumpur to enhance search data quality and user experience.

You will inspect evaluated data, localize policies, and collaborate with R&D and product management to align updates and improve accuracy. This role involves handling sensitive content and requires strong English skills and cultural understanding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above and excellent English language skills to support global operation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and learning abilities.
• Knowledge about search engines, familiar with social media platforms.
• An in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of local users.
• Strong ability to learn and understand.
• Familiar with common office software.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspection of evaluated data and daily tasks of specialists.
• Localize the policies, be responsible for policy training, and align the policy updates.
• Conduct calibration meetings with the team in the appeal process: analyze different cases, record and evaluate their performance, offer solutions and suggestions for the current problem to help the team improve the accuracy rate and alignment.
• Work closely with R&D (Research and Development) and PM (Product Manager) to provide feedback on data quality.
• Willing to work with sensitive issues that include a variety of religious and political views, violence, adult & sexual content.
• And any other duties as assigned.
