Job summary

Kosmic Technologies is seeking a logistics service professional to act as the primary contact for clients in a shipping and logistics environment, handling inquiries, providing shipment updates, and addressing complaints.

You will monitor vessel schedules, cargo arrivals, and delivery timelines while liaising with shipping lines, forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities to coordinate shipments and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience handling inquiries and shipment updates in logistics.
• Familiar with import/export documentation.
• Coordinate with shipping lines and customs brokers.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and policies.
• Generate shipment performance reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, providing shipment updates, and addressing complaints
• Deliver proactive communication on shipment status and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor vessel schedules, cargo arrivals, and delivery timelines to ensure smooth operations
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities to coordinate shipments
• Prepare, verify, and process import/export documentation including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with trade regulations and company policies
• Investigate and resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies
• Coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and customers to minimize disruption
• Work closely with internal stakeholders such as warehouse, customs, and finance teams to ensure efficient cargo clearance and delivery
• Support sales and account managers by providing timely customer and shipment updates
