Job summary

CTX Logistics is seeking a Customer Service Executive – Ocean Freight to manage end-to-end coordination and documentation for ocean shipments. The role emphasizes accurate information, timely updates, and proactive communication with clients and partners.

You will liaise with carriers and internal teams, maintain records in the freight management system, and support billing and compliance to ensure smooth, on-time deliveries and strong client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or business administration.
• 2–4 years in ocean freight forwarding or customer service in logistics.
• Strong knowledge of international ocean freight documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient in freight forwarding systems and MS Office.
• Multitasking and time management in a fast-paced setting.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of customs processes and trade compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily ocean freight shipments with accurate documentation and booking.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers, providing updates and resolving issues.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents: bills of lading, invoices, packing lists.
• Liaise with carriers and internal teams to ensure efficiency and timelines.
• Track shipments and notify clients of deviations or delays.
• Handle rate inquiries, quotations, and service requests with pricing teams.
• Maintain shipment records in the freight management system.
• Support operations and finance with billing accuracy and documentation.
• Assist in resolving service complaints and implementing corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and customer satisfaction.
