Job summary

Reeracoen Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Business Development Leader to drive growth across logistics, transport, and cross-border services. You will develop sales strategies, secure new business, and build robust customer partnerships.

You will lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and KPI-driven performance with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and sustained profitability. Five-plus years in logistics sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Commercial roles within logistics and related sectors.
• Experience in integrated logistics including cold chain, warehousing, distribution, freight forwarding, cross-border logistics, or 3PL.
• Strong experience in key account management and developing long-term customer relationships.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across logistics, cold chain, transportation, warehousing, distribution, forwarding, and cross-border services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
• Lead contract negotiations, tenders, commercial proposals, and pricing strategies.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive assigned business segments and expand international transportation business.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development team, including setting KPIs and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse, Transportation, and Finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Manage key accounts, resolve customer issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular business performance reports.
