Job summary

GAC Cargo System Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is looking for a Commercial Cum Business Development Manager to drive growth across Sea, Air and Road logistics.

You will actively acquire and grow new customers, develop strategic sales plans and build long‑term partnerships, while collaborating with operations to ensure seamless service.

You’ll need strong market knowledge, excellent communication and a proven track record in logistics business development to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Business Development, ideally in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Actively acquiring and growing new customers for logistics services, including Sea Freight, Air Freight, Road Freight, and Oil & Gas (Energy) logistics solutions.
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets and business development KPIs.
• Building, maintaining and strengthening relationships with customers, suppliers, key stakeholders and sales team.
• Identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to maximize revenue and leverage internal resources.
• Preparation of proposals and quotations.
• Collaborating with operations and internal teams to ensure seamless service.
• Strong preference will be given to candidate with sea, air, road forwarding backgrounds.
